Gabriella Willemsen Khara is originally from the Netherlands and adapts some of the best European education ideas with a deep respect for Indian values and diversity. She has always known that she wanted to be an early childhood educator. Starting from a very young age she began her teaching journey working in various international schools and institutes.
Gabriella is trained in early childhood education and is a certified teachers’ trainer. As an experienced teacher, principal, and mother, she incorporates a practical Montessori approach with a sincere understanding of the rigours of the Indian education standards. As an avid gardener and animal lover, her love of life overflows into the classrooms. Being a former professional Kuchipudi dancer, she brings a touch of love for the arts and humanity to Iksa. With a strong passion for teaching and overwhelming love for each child who walks through our doors, she hopes to help change some stigmas and methods of early childhood education.
